SENIOR COMPETITION FINE SCORE BY L. A. WOOD WINS FOR TECHNICAL 0.8. AND UNITED A sparkling 97 not out. including 14 boundaries and two sixes, by L. A. Wood (United), was the highlight of the Wanganui Cricket Association's senior grade competition matches on Cook’s Gardens on Saturday. Ideal conditions prevailed and batsmen fully exploited the lifeless wicket, although Whiting (55) was the only other player to pass the half-ceniur^. Results at a Glance.
