EGG SHORTAGE

AUSTRALIAN SHIPMENT RECALLED Received Feb. 3, 5.5 p.m. SYDNEY, Feb. 3. Because of the acute egg shortage, involving rationing by 50 per cent, because of the recent heat wave and bush fires, the Egg Marketing Board is bringing back 90,000 dozen eggs which were shipped to the United Kingdom in December. This is the first time a shipment has been recalled.
