Import Licences.
The value of import licences issued by the Customs Department at Wanganui during January was £83,100. The number of licences issued to date is 820. Applications for licences are still being received in large numbers at Wapganui, the average being about 20 a day. Applications for imports during the second half of the year are being received and filed.
