FEILDING RAM FAIR

SALE CONCLUDES BRIGHTLY [ Per Press Association.] FEILDING, Feb. 3. The annual ram fair at Feilding concluded to-day with an offering of 57 stud and 1850 flock rams. The attendance was again very large and the demand superior to that of Romneys sold the previous day. The top price for stud rams was 82Jgns., the vendor being a well-known South Island breeder, Mr. H. J. Andrew, of Maheno, who also obtained the second highest price of 72£gns. Rams shown at the special classes at the Feilding Show averaged 53gns. for pens of four, while singles in the show classes averaged 7igns. A large catalogue o flocks enjoyed a splendid sale and well over half of them sold at auction at an average of 5i gns.
