DO YOU SUFFER FROM SHOPPING FEET?

' , | Ngu>s/ 3 lie cjood-naliVied Laocatii'e i 5 lie'ie Lixen* is the new and good-natured laxative. J By good-natured we mean that Lixen does 1 nOt pur 8 c ’ ’ s not v *°l ent ’ n action and il contains no harmful f chemicals. Lixen is made from senna by a special process which allays the usual griping of senna and provides a new and greatly improved laxative which can be taken equally safely by children, adults and people with ‘ delicate insides.’ LIXEN Lixen is made in two forms. Elixir—a liquid, sold in 4-oz. bottles, and Lozenges, which are blackcurrant flavoured, sold in tins of 12 and 24.

Do you suffer from tired feet? It you are a chronic sufferer from this complaint, and dread the day's shopping in town that may lie ahead of you, try the following remedy. Massage the feet well with eau de cologne and keep rubbing it into the skin until all traces of dampness have disa rpeared, then dust thickly with talc powder, don your shoes and stockings, and your feet will carry you for the rest of the day without effort. Another excellent method for curing tired and aching feet is to bathe them every morning for five minutes in warm water to which has been adder, a little epsom salts. Then rinse them well, dry and massage and dust as above.

From tired feet is but a short step to puffy ankles. These are quite easily relieved by plunging the feet and legs into hot water every morning, ami then sprinkling some boracic on to the palms of the hands and massaging your ankles from the feet upwards. Use a firm movement, and massage with the palm, not the fingers. Massage from the ankle toward the knee, then walk about the bedroom, on tiptoe, for a few minutes, and finish oil the treatment by placing a few drop., of eau de cologne in the palms of the hands and massaging with a gentle circular movement. Keep massaging until all the cologne has been absorbed by the skin.
