PROGRESS AT D ARG A VILLE [ Per Press Association.] DARGAVILLE, Jan. 5. Boring on Montgomery Bros.’ Mititai farm is proceeding quite satisfactorily, said Mr. W. A. Carter, works supervisor for the company who are prospecting for oil in this district. Work was recommenced on Monday after the holidays, and the bore is passing at a satisfactory rate through just the class of strata anticipated. With the exception of some delay in the matter of a satisfactory supply of steam pressure for the boring plant, the work has gone along steadily, and is cuite up to schedule.
