PUBLIC NOTICES WANGANUI CITY COUNCIL. DOG TAX, 1939. yOTICE is hereby given that the Wanganui City Council has by resolution fixed the Dog Tax for the year ending December 31, 1939, as follows:—• For each dog used bona fide for driving sheep or cattle, and not exceeding three, the sum of 2/6 (two shillings and six pence). For all other dogs, 10/- (ten shillings) each. In addition to the above prescribed dog tax there shall be payable a fee of 1/- per dog for the supply of an approved remedy for the prevention of Hydatid Diseases in dogs, and until payment of such additional fee, the registration shall not Lc deemed to have been duly made. Notice is also hereby given that Mr. J. H. Minnell has been appointed Registrar and Collector of Dog Tax, and the City Council Chambers, St. Hill Street, the registration office for the purpose of receiving tax and registering dogs.
