Mr. M. E. Vardy, retired manager of Barclay’s Bank, Victoria, Natal, South Africa, who is on a world tour, arrived.at Wellington on Friday, from Auckland. Mr. H. V. Lawry, manager of the South British Insurance Company, Ltd., Dunedin, for the past eight years, has received advice from the head office of the company in Auckland of his transfer to Perth as manager for Western Australia. Mr. J. W. Normle, manager in Napier, has been appointed to a similar position in Dunedin.
