DUTCH GIFTS OF BULBS FOR BRITAIN (British Official Wireless) RUGBY, Dec. 4. The First Commissioner of Works has announced that, as an expression of gratitude for the preservation of peace in Europe, the Dutch Central Bulb Growers and Exporters' Committee has ottered gifts of bulbs for planting in the neighbourhood ot the Parliament Buildings of those countries which contributed to the rescue of mankind from the horrors -of war. For the British Government, the First Commissioner has accepted a gift of 10,000 tulips from the committee, and these will be planted in the gardens adjoining the Victoria Tower of the Houses of Parliament.
