His Dog’s Chance. "When I first started in this election they said I didn't have a dog’s chance. I said that’s all I want, my name is Barker,” said Mr. W. L. Barker, National candidate for Wellington East, speaking at Kilbirnie. The remark was greeted by laughter and cheers, which were renewed when someone called out: "Bow wow.”
