MR. COTTERILL AT CASTLECLIFF

ANOTHER VOTE OF CONFIDENCE Mr. J. B. Cotterill addressed a meeting last night at Bayliss’ tearooms, Castlecliff, an attendance of 40 being presided over by Mr. H. Higgs. Mr. Cotterill traversed in his speech the same ground which he had covered at the Glasgow Hall the previous evening, and at the conclusion he was accorded a vote of thanks and confidence, the motion being carried unanimously. Several questions relating to the Social Security Act were asked and satisfactorily answered. Cotterill (Labour, Wanganui), Opera House, 8 p.m. Mr. Ormond Wilson (Labour, Rangitikei), Parewanui School, 2.30 p.m., Marton Town Hall, 8 p.m. Mr. E. B. Gordon (National, Rqjigitikei), Taihape, 8.30 p.m. (with Mi Boles). Mr. C. A. Boles (National, Waimarino), Town Hall, Taihape, 8.30 p.m.
