DELIVERY OF BREAD AND MEAT

ELECTION DAY ARRANGEMENTS The Wanganui Master Bakers’ Association and the Master Butchers’ Association are seeking the co-operation of the public in the matter of delivery of bread and meat on election day (to-morrow). All butchers and pork butchers’ shops will close from 12 noon as usual. The bakers advise that bread is to be delivered as usual on election day. but it is desired to let the drivers off work as soon as possible. Purchasers coul’d assist in that direction by having orders ready promptly, and by leaving notes detailing the orders in the event of everybody in the house [going out.
