SEAFIELD CLUB

STAPLEFORD BOGEY MATCH. No draw will be made for the Stapleford bogey match, which is to be played at Seafield links on Saturday. Players will arrange their own partners. The club’s annual tournament will be held the following week, on October 22, 23 and 24. This will be the last tournament to be held by the club, as the lease of the links expires at the end of this month. To mark the occasion, the entry fee has been fixed at the low figure of 12s 6d, but the prizes will be on the same generous scale as in previous years. With every prospect of fine weather this should be a very enjoyable Junction for golfers. There will be two qualifying rounds on Saturday, followed by match play in successive flights of 16 on the following days. Each competition will be in two divisions, with two prizes in each division.
