BEAUTY CONTEST
WANGANUI EAST GIRL’S WIN The beauty contest which is being conducted throughout New Zealand by the N.Z. Women’s Weekly, was advanced a further stage by the conclusion of the Wanganui competition, which was won by Miss Sue Gray, of Wanganui East. The contest in Wanganui was conducted by the Plaza Theatre, and the voting showed a large majority in Miss Gray's favour.
