INTERIM DIVIDEND DECLARED The Bank of Australasia announces that the court of directors has declared an interim dividend of 3s 6d a share, at the rate of 7 per cent, per annum, less British income tax at 4s in the £l. The dividend is payable on September 30, to proprietors registered on September 5, at any branch of the bank in New Zealand at the current 1 rate of exchange for sight bills on London on the date of negotiation. The New Zealand list of proprietors will be closed on September 5 for the purposes of the dividend.
