THE EXECUTIVE MEETS IMPROVING FINANCES Evidence of the improvement of the finances of the Wanganui Agricultural Association was given at a meeting of the executive yesterday. Mr. W. Craig presided. Financial Statement. The financial statement submitted by Mr. C. M. Strouts (hon. treasurer), showed that during the month of July the revenue amounted to £124 12s. Members' subscriptions accounted for £54 of that, donations £42, and advertisements in the schedule £2B 10s. The building fund account was shown to be in credit to the extent of £l9 15s 3d, and the general account £504 16s 6d. "We are still moving ahead and are in a very sound position, thanks to our energetic secretary," said Mr. Strouts, commenting on the finances. New Members. Eighteen new members were elected: Messrs. H. H. B. Hughes, W. Wearing, J. H. Johnston, T. W. Howie. Max McGregor, K. L. Bruce, all of No. 2 Line; A. C. Bailey (Fordell), C. I G. Armstrong (Rapanui), C. H. Trott 'Rapanui), T. H. Davison (Rapanui), ' H. A. Rogers (Rapanui), F. Littlejohn : ‘Westmere), S. Bason (Rapanui), J. ; A. Prujean (Westmere), E. F. Liffiton 'Wanganui). Joseph Glover (Wanganui*. A. A. Winwood (Westmere), and D. W. Gilbertson (Gonville).
