Extension of Morgan Street, Castlecliff, to give access to the area of beach near the harboui entrance moles is of importance to both the Wanganui City Council and the Har- / bour Board. fAt a meeting of the board yesterday approval, was given to metal us*d from the board’s pit being supplied free of royalty to the council. ”The council intends to spend up tn £290 on the extension.” said the Mayor (Mr. W. J. Rogers) who is also « member of the board, “This new road will benefit our property if there is any development of Castlecliff as a suburb,” said th* chairman of the board ‘Mr. N. G. Armstrong), who moved that the metal be,supplied free of cost.
