SECRETLY BUILT
NEW BRITISH SPEED BOAT ATTACK ON ITALIAN RECORD LONDON, May 25. Secretly built from designs by Edward Spurr, engineer, in collaboration with the late Lawrence of Arabia, a 16-foot speedboat, christened Empire Day, is expected to reach a speed of 90 miles an hour, and is attacking the Italian world record of 70 miles an hour on Lake Windermere within three weeks.
