CABLE AND WIRELESS SHARES
Received May 25, 5.5 p.m. LONDON, May 24. Lord Pender, presiding at the an- ' nual meeting of Cable and Wireless, I Ltd., announced that the company j was offering to redeem small holdings at par. The directors hoped by a flat-rate scheme to place the company on an enduring basis which would be alvantageous to all parties concerned.
