The Bill now goes to the Senate, which previously passed the widely-differing measure. The Bill before the House provides for a minimum wage begining at 25 cents an hour for the first year, increasing five-yearly until a minimum of 40 cents is reached. The maximum weekly Jiours are 44 in the first year and 40 thereafter. Virtually* all industries operatin'? mter-State commerce are affected by the provisions of the Bill.
