WANGANUI AIRPORT

"A WONDERFUL AERODROME" VIEW OF MR A. S. BURGESS “Wanganui is very fortunate in having such a wonderful aerodrome so admirably situatea," states the president, Mr A. S. Burgess, in his annual report on the operations of the Wanganui Aero Club. “The levelling ol the landing ground has been completed and we now have one of the best aerodromes in New Zealand. There is ample room for extension, if necessary, although the present runways are more than sufficient to cater for the different types of 'planes at present operating in New Zealand."
