The principal players are Ruby Keeler, Lee Dixon, Allen Jenkins and Louise Fazenda. Poignant emotion which ‘ears at the heart strings, similar to that which highlight manv groat murder trials, are revealed in “The Jurv’s Secret.” featuring Kent Taylor. Fav Wray. Bulldog Drummond, is portrayed on the screen in one of “Sanner’s” detective stories, this time in “Bulldog Drummond’s Revenge,’’ which is to screen to-morrow nt the Regent Theatre. Well chosen to play the title role in the film is John Howard, and ho has succeeded in capturing the devil-may-care, swashbuckling attitude of t!ie original Drummond. The plo‘ deals with the hazardous business of safeguarding military secrets from foreign and hostile Governments, and it offers plenty of for action and intrigue, especially against the background of the Continental nations. At the outset of the film a powerful and revolutionary explosive, known as “Haxonite,” is stolen from its inventor by a servant placed in his employ by a spy ring, and the thief immediately sets out to lake it to his employers on the Continent. It is then that Bulldog Drummond takes a hand, and the result is an exciting film. John Barrymore, Louise Campbell. Reginald Denny and E. E. Clive are also in | the cast. A bright musical comedy, , “Thrill of a Lifetime.” with Dorothy Lamour, the Yacht Club Boys, Betty Grable, and Eleanor Whitney, is th< associate feature.
