OTAGO MOA BONES
CLASSIFICATION COMPLETED THREE DIFFERENT SPECIES DUNEDIN, May 10. An interesting collection of moa bones was recently found by Mr. R. S. Thompson during gold mining at Wetherstone’s, near Lawrence, prob ably the first of its kind made in this locality. These bones are now housed in the University Museum and Dr. Benham has classified them as belonging to the largest Otago maos and also to two of the commonest species of mo? 1
