Sir Apirana Ngata advises that owing to highways damage and the loss of an important building in the recent storm the Waiomatatini hui is postponed indefinitely. This gathering was to mark the rededication of the Porourangi meetingL house, lately moved from its original position to eliminate danger from flooding. Sir Apirana also advises that " the Wairoa hui, in honour of the late Sir i James Carroll, has also been post- - poned from May to June 15 and 18, 1 inclusive.
