CONSIGNMENTS AT AUCKLAND [ Per Press AMvciatictiJ AUCKLAND, May 2. Any repetition of the misunderstanding which arose when th* Matua last arrived at Auckland with a shipment of bananas from Fiji on consignment to the New Zealand Government was avoided when the Aorangi discharged to-day. The maximum wholesale prices were fixed by the Government Supervisor of Banana Marketing at 20s a case for firsts and 18s 6d for seconds, compared with the prices for the last shipment, 17s and 16s respectively. The Aorangi’s shipment was 2600 cases from Fiji. On Wednesday a larger consignment is due by the Matua from Tonga and the Cook Lslands.
