Dear Wendy,—Once again “Kelly the Great" pops in to bid you all goodday. Well, Wendy, “Stella” and I have spoken to several Hunterville Ites about, this concert, everyone being keen to carry it through. Naturally, we all would like you to be present. if al. all possible. We will let you know further particulars later. We very much appreciate your kind offer iof help from the River City. On Saturday night we were speaking to “Laughing Lizzie” and “Our Little ißoy." We wish to thank them both i for their excellent suggestions and think they are real sports. But before 4 go on to say any more I would like ito say that “Cuddles” and myself can’t Hake all the praise for this event as ■it was “Stella'' and “Poultry Maid’s I Admirer” who first suggested it to us .and, as wc thought it a good idea, we thought we would see if our co-Ites | would help us. I am sure we could not carry on without the help of our |co-Ites. Well, “Veiled Princess,” how about you practising up your flying tackles and giving us a' demonstration with “0.L.8.” Come on, "Onga Lap,” you had hotter got your voice in trim as we are relying on you for a song. Well, “Mr. X Junior," f hope I you are O.K. after getting your teeth out. I suppose you wish you had some jmore to be filled as I am sure you liked getting your face fanned, but you had better look out for Mongolians. What say you. "Poultry Maid's Admirer”? Well, "Cuddles' Chum.” >ou seem to have a lot of “Admirers.” I asked two people if they were jour '“Admirer” and they said "Yes, but not (the Wendy Hut ‘Admirers.’" Well. "Unlucky Love,” how are you? Will (you be a pal and sing for us at the {concert? "L.D.,” we arc relying on you for a song and could jou get “Kiss Me Again’’ to help you? Well. 'Wendy, how ‘did the city fare in the flood last week? Hunterville was I nearly washed away. "The Big Sister.” .how about you, will you give us a .hand with this concert? I hope you I will. Come on, "Cuddles,” it's time you got down to business, as we want i to get a start as soon as possible.
