NATIONAL PARTY
SELECTION OF CANDIDATES SPECIAL MEETING TO-MORROW. MEMBERSHIP ROLL CLOSES TO DAY. A special meeting of members of the Wanganui branch of the National Party is to be held at the Opera House to-morrow evening, when the party’s official candidate for the Wanganui electorate will be selected from the four nominees, who will each address the meeting. The method of selection is by postal ballot with preferential voting. Only financial members of the party will be permitted to attend the meeting and to participate in the selection. The roll of members of the branch closes at 4 p.m. to-day.
