Over 100,000 strikers will resume work next Tuesday as the result ol Engineering and Metal Workers’ Union accepting a peace plan put forward by the economist Dr. Patti Ramadier. In a letter to employers and workers, Dr. Ramadier said that in the interests of national defence it was the Government’s imperative duty to end the dispute The manner iii which both tides have agreed to settle their grievances by conference promises a speedy settlement of the Paris labour troubles.
