A TTRACTIVE conditions are offered to physically fit young men between the ages of 18 and 30 years to enjoy a healthy and congenial life for three months. Free clothing, medical attention and educational training are provided. RATES OF PAY. (a) During three months’ initial training, 8/- per day, seven days a week (less 2/6 per day for quarters and rations supplied). (b) During ten days’ annual camp, 9/- per day (rations and quarters free). EMPLOYMENT AFTER THREE MONTHS’ TRAINING. On completion of the three months’ course of instruction a selected number of Special Reservists under 25 years of age, will be considered for enlistment into the N.Z. Regular Forces. TERMS OF SERVICE. (a) Three months’ continuous training at a camp or fort before posting to a Territorial Unit. (b) Attendance for three consecutive years at the annual camp (10 days) of the Unit to which posted. CONDITIONS OF ENLISTMENT. Every applicants must fulfil the following conditions:— (a) Be a British subject. (b) Be unmarried. (c) Have attained their 18th but not passed their 30th birthday on enlistment. (d) Be not less than sft. 7ins. in height (in socks). (e) Be physically fit. CLOSING DATE.
