WAVERLEY
BASKETBALL CLUB On Monday evening the Waver ley Basketball Club held their first annual meeting in the infant room of the public school, when there was a very good attendance of members.
The election of officers resulted; Patron, Miss B. Elmslie; president, Mrs A. Morrison; secretary, Miss L. Morrison; treasurer, Miss M. Bourke; coach, Mr Linehan. The balance-sheet was read and showed very satsifactory credit.
PERSONAL Miss K. McMillan, Dannevirke, is the guest of Mrs F. Sheppard. Miss Molly Dickie is spending Easter in Patea as the guest of Mrs Mairs.
