WANGANUI CENTRE EASTER TOURNAMENT ) FIRST DAY’S PLAY ABANDONEE I After a. long spell of fine weather j Easter was ushered in yesterday with | heavy rain and the first day's play in the Wanganui Bowling Centre’s tour-I nament had to be abandoned. The i executive decided that, for to-day’s , play each section would assemble on : the green as set out in the booklet for the second day's play and start on round four. Six rounds will now be played instead of nine. If weather •onditions permit the six rounds are to be completed by Monday. The teams to go forward to post-section play will be those securing five or: more wins. If two or more in any i section have four as the highest num-J her of wins they will play off to find; the actual winner. Section A will play on the Wanga-1 nui green, sections B and C on St. i John’s, section D on Wanganui East . and section E on Gonville green. Play will commence at 8.45 a.m.
