OBITUARY

MR. JOHN EDWARD FAGANKING'S COLLEGE MASTER [ Per Pr*M Association. ) AUCKLAND, April 12. One of the best known of former masters of King’s College and loved by generations of boys, Mr. John Edward Fagan died to-day at the age of 69. Mr. Fagan graduated at Trinity College, Dublin. After leaving university he led an adventurous life and lived on the Continent and in Canada and Australia. Coming to Auckland in 1906, he joined the .stall of King’s College and taught there until the college was moved in 1922 to its present site at Otahuhu. lie remained at King’s College, Remuera, until his retirement, about three years later.
