IN FULL SWING
SYDNEY ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATIONS
Received April 13, 9.30 p.m. SYDNEY, April 13.
The Royal Show is now in full swing. It is estimated there are half a million visitors in Sydney, including hundreds from New Zealand. The city, which is in carnival mood, is still befisgged and nightly illuminated for the continuation of the Anniversary festivities. The weather generally is pleasant, with occasional showers. A feature of this year's show is the entry of Clydesdales. New Zealandbred animals winning the two-year-old classes with magnificent stallions owned by Messrs. J. Smith and F. Lehmann.
The New Zealand horseman, Mr. G. Goodley, was thrown during a buckjumping contest in the arena. He was treated for lacerations and slight concussion.
