COMING ATTRACTIONS
REGENT— Saturday's offering comprises “Educating Father,’’ with the Jones Family, and “Roaring Timber,” starring Jack Holl, Grace Bradley and Ruth Donnelly. On Wednesday next John Wayne, Sheila Bromley and Billy Burrud appear in “Idol of the Crowds,” and Eddie Nugent, Joan Marsh and Ben Lyon will be seen in “Dancing Feet.” On Saturday of next week William Boyd, Jimmy Ellison and Lynn Gabriel appear in "Heart of the West,” and Mary Boland and Charles Ruggles star in “Early to Bed.” PLAZA— Commencing at the “midnight" matinee to-night, “King Solomon's Mines” has Paul Robeson, Sir Cedric Hardwicke, Roland Young, Anna Lee and John Loder in the featured roles. Next Wednesday and Thursday there will be a special popular night, from 7.30 to 11 p.m., with “Western Gold," “Ranger Patrol,” the Farr-Braddock Fight, and a wide range of supports. “Nothing Sac-red,” scheduled for Friday of next week, has Carole Lombard, Fredric March and Charles Winninger starred. MAJESTIC— Constance Bennett, Roland Young, Cary Grant, Alan Mowbray and Eugene Paliette are co-starred in “'Popper,” which commences on Easter Saturday. “Madame X,” commencing on Wednesday next, has Gladys George and Warren William in the stellar roles. Marlene Dietrich, Herbert Marshall and Melvyn Douglas are featured in “Angel,” which is to be screened on Saturday of next week. DUCHESSSaturday’s attractions are “Everybody Dance,” with Cicely Courtneidge, and “Man in the Mirror.” with Edward Everett Horton. On Monday Edward Robinson will be seen in "Thunder in the City.” Paul Robeson’s voice will be heard on Wednesday in “Song of Freedom.” “God’s Country and the Woman,” screening on Friday, features George Brent . and Beverly Richards.
