CHILD DROWNED
SWEPT FROM FEET BY WAVE [Per Pi*sb A • •ocist’.ou. ] DUNEDIN, April 11. Lois Constance Mary Reid, aged 11. was drowned at Beattie’s Beacu Otago Peninsula, on Saturday. The child was bathing with her sisters ana brother when a wave swept her from her feet, an elder sister’s rescue effort failing. The body has not been recovered.
