WORKER'S FORTUNATE ESCAPE
[ Per Pr*»» Association. ] LEVIN, April 11. A narrow escape from death by electrocution was experienced by a man employed at the Mangahao hydro-electric power station yesterday afternoon. While cleaning a portion of the machinery, Mr B. Murdock, aged 38, married, came in contact with a cable carrying 60,000 volts. He suffered severe burns to both feet and hands and was taken to hospital. His condition is stated as not serious.
