Plenary Powers To Be Asked for
SIX MONTHS’ PERIOD

Prime Minister, Minister of War, and Minister of Defence, M. Daladier. Vice-Premier and Minister of Coordination, M. Chautemps. Minister of Justice, M. Paul Reynaud. Minister of Economy, M. Raymond Patenotre. Minister of Foreign Affairs, M. Bonnet. Minister of the Interior, M. Sarraut. Minister of Finance, M. Paul Marchandeau. Minister of the M. Campinchi. Minister of the Air, M. Guy La Chambre. Minister of Education, M. Jean Zay. Minister of Agriculture, M. Henr: Queuille. Minster of Colonies, M. Georges Mandel. Minister of Labour, M. Paul Ramadier. Minister of Public Works, M. Frossard. Minister of Commerce, M. Fernand Gentin. Minister of Pensions, M. Champetier de Ribcs. Minister of Health, M. March Rucart. Minister of Posts and Telegraphs, M. Jules Julien. Minister of Merchant Marine, Viscount Louise de Chappedelaine. M. Daladier proposes that an inner Cabinet of si. Ministers shall meet dainly, namely, MM. Daladier, Chautemps, Reynaud, Sarraut, Bonnet and Marchandeou. Three of the Under-Secr&taries of State and twelve of the Ministers are members of the Radical-Socialist Party. MM. Ramadier, Frossard, and Patenotre are Dissident Socialists; Mr. Reynaud is a Left Republican; M. Mandel an Indepenaent Republican; M. De Ribes a Popular Democrat; and Viscount Chappedelaine belongs to the Democratic Left.
The new Government will \sk for plenary powers for six months to deal with the financial situation.
