The past tours of Indian teams have been marked by success in the Dominion, and it is expected that the fixture for this season should be just as popular as on previous occasions. At last night’s annual meeting of the Wanganui Hockey Association gratification was expressed that the two games were to be played in the centre, and arrangements for the fixtures were discussed. The English ladies’ team is to play at Wanganui on July 16, but the date of the match with the Indians is not known. The visits were discussed, and a cint’iar was received from the New Zea | nd Hockey Association in respeef to the Indian team. This letter stated, inter alia: “It is with pleasure that we confirm the announcement that His Highness, the Nawab of Manavadar, who is the ruling Prince of that State, will accompany the team as captain. His Highness is an All-India representative, and has played in the left wing position foi India in the Asiatic section of the Olympic Games. He is bringing with him on this tour a private secretary, who may be a player, and two personal attendants. Two other definite members of the team who havb represented India in Olympic Games are M.
