Connecting service for Auckland train leaves Wanganui 9.25 a.m. and for Wellington at 4.50 p.m. Extra express trains will run as follows: LEAVE AUCKLAND FOR WELLINGTON: 7.45 p.m. on 11th, 12th, 13th, 14th, 17th, 18th, 19th, 20th, 21st, 22nd and 24th April. Connecting train leaves Wanganui 6.20 a.m. next day in each case. LEAVE WELLINGTON FOR AUCKLAND: 3.42 p.m. on 14 th April. Connecting train leaves Wanganui for Marton 4.50 p.m. and Marton for Wanganui at 8.15 p.m. 10.7 p.m. on 14th April. Connecting train leaves Wanganui 11.50 p.m. LEAVE WELLINGTON FOR WANGANUI AND NEW PLYMOUTH: For WANGANUI Only: 10.28 a.m. on 14th, 15th, 18th and 19th, April Wanganui arr. 4.25 p.m. 11.0 p.m. on 14th April—Wanganui arr. 5.50 а. Stops at St. John's, Aramoho, East Town, Fordell and Turakina only. LEAVE WANGANUI FOR WELLINGTON, NAPIER AND AUCKLAND: On 14th April night passenger train, stopping where required, leaves Wanganui 11.50 p.m., Aramoho 12.18 a.m. (15th) (connecting with 8.0 p.m. passenger train from New Plymouth), Marton 2.5 a.m. (connecting with express for Auckland), arriving Wellington 6.50 a.m., Napier 8.43 a.m. and Auckland 2.30 p.m. LEAVE WANGANUI FOR WELLINGTON: 12.40 p.m. on 14th, 15th, 18th., and 19th. April. On 18th April special train (connecting at Aramoho with 10.40 p.m. special train from New Plymouth previous night) leaves Wanganui 2.22 a.m. for Wellington. Stops only at Aramoho, Marton, Feilding, Palmerton North add Levin. GOOD FRIDAY. 15th APRIL. In addition to the usual express trains (and connecting trains between Wanganui and Aramoho) only the following local trains will run in the Wanganui-New Plymouth-Palmerston North area:— 8.20 a.m. Wanganui-New Plymouth. 1.45 p.m. New Plymouth-Wanganui. б. a.m. Wanganui - Palmerston North. 6.57 a.m. Palmerston North-Wan-ganui. 6.25 a.m. Marton-Wanganui. 4.50 p.m. Wanganui - Palmerston North. 4.10 p.m. Palmerston North-Wan-ganui. In the Main Trunk area, in addition to usual Express trains, only the following local trains will run:— 9.10 a.m. Marton-Taumarunui. 9.10 a.m. Taumarunui-Marton. TROTTING RACES AT HAWERA 16th & 18th APRIL. WANGANUI - NEW PLYMOUTH: Usual 8.20 a.m. Wanganui-New Plymouth passenger train stops at Racecourse for passengers. Return train, stopping where required, leaves Racecourse 5.11 p.m., Hawera 5.25, Wanganui arr. 8.40 p.m. SPECIAL EXCURSION TICKETS: Available for return until 19th April inclusive, will be issued to Hawcra or Hawera Racecourse by morning trains only on 16th and 18th April from stations Wanganui to New Plymouth inclusive. ’ RACES AT FEILDING. 16th & 18th APRIL. WANGANUI-PALMERSTON NORTH Train leaves Wanganui for Feilding 8.31 a.m., Aramoho 8.42, Fordell 9.12 Turakina 9.44, Marton 10.18, Feilding arr. 10.54 a.m. This train stops where required Wanganui to Marton, also at Greatford and Halcombe. Return train, stopping where required, leaves Feilding 5.15 p.m. Wanganui arr. 8.1 p.m. SPECIAL EXCURSION TICKETS: Available for return until 19th April inclusive, will oe issued to Fei ding from Taihape, Wanganui, Palmerston North and intermediate stations on 16th and 18th April, by morning trains. NOT available by Main Trunk express trains except those issued at Taihape and Hunterville, which will be available by the UP express leaving Marton 7.8 p.m. ANZAC DAY, 25th APRIL. All train services are suspended with exception of the usual AucklandWellington and Wellington-Auckland express trains.
