A tribute to the New Zealand ani Australian "ground” crews was pa!« by Imperial Airways after completion of the overhaul cf the Centaurus following her 32,000 miles flight to New Zealand. The Centaurus suffered not the slightest damage, the engine* were in excellent condition, and the load of spare parts was practically untouched. “It is a fine tribute to lhe ground service staffs handling s large and strange craft, particularly those in New Zealand and Australia,’' states the company.
