VISIT OF THE WEINTRAUBS The world-renowned Weintraubs, masters of melody, comedy and harmony" are to appear at the Regent for a season of three nights and a matineo commencing to-day. The Weintraubs will provide the completr second half of the programme. If it’s a musical instrument, they play it: One player uses 14 different instruments in playing one number! You haven’t seen what can be done to » piano until you’ve witnessed this remarkable act. They are famous in every country of the world and New Zealand is indeed fortunate to have this opportunity of seeing them. "The Weintraubs” (pronounced "vinetrowb,” "ow” as in "cow”) provide 70 minutes ot the programme In a full stage setting, presenting the amazing range of musical accomplishments that have made them famous. While these celebrities have now become famous on the air, it was the remarkable spectacle of their stage work that brought them first into prominence in Berlin, Paris, Vienna, Lon-, don and New York, and they will present the same fine acts in Wanganui. This is one of the few musical combinations in the world which present an act that must be seen as well as heard to be enjoyed to the full. These talented artists will be on the stage for the full second half of the programme, extending over seventy minuts. The opening feature in the first half will be “Windbag the Sailor,” hilarious comedy, with Will Hay and Graham Moffett starred. A most enthusiastic audience applauded every item in the programme submitted by the talented Weintraubs at the Civic Theatre, Marton, last night.
