CONTROL OF PROFITS BY LEGISLATION INTENTION OF FEDERAL GOVERNMENT « MELBOURNE, March 9. The Hon. J. A. Lyons stated that if it becomes necessary for private enterprise to undertake the production of munitions in the time of national emergency the profits will be controlled by legislation. Mr Lyons announced the six successful tenderers for an experimental supply of munitions (to cost about £100,000) which have been opened as a guide to the ability of private enterprise to provide the components ol munitions in time of war.
