MISHAP AT SEA
J PLANE AND ( RENY RESCUED I GIRL’S HEROIC ACTION SYDNEY, Feb. 17. A message giving news of the mis- | hap, which was dropped by a plane at Eden, was picked up by Miss Margaret Logan. Rowing in a leaking dinghy, she took the message to a seaplane which was moored in the harbour. The pilot immediately left to make a search. The naval exercises were suspended and the warhips, together with several 'planes, joined in the search. With searchlights playing across the water, the , Achilles found the seaplane at 8 p.m. The crew were unharmed and the men and seaplane rejoined the Sydney. On the return journey from lhe seaplane Miss Logan's dinghy filled j with water, and Miss Logan, bailing | and rowing alternatively, reached the I shore just before lhe boat was I sw amped.
