THEFT CHARGES
VERDICT OF GIILTY. [Ter Press Association.] WELLINGTON, Feb. 2. At the Supreme Court a verdict of guilty was returned by the jury against William Mcßeynolds, 29, ship’s fireman, of breaking and entering the shop attached to the service station of Bell and Young, Ltd., Thorndon Quay, on November 14, and stealing about 12 packets cigarettes, £2 15s in pennies and a cashbox valued at*los. On two further counts of theft and receiving he was found not guilty. He was remanded for sentence.
