STATUE IN GLASS

VIENNA SCULPTOR’S CLAIM. Received Dec. 28, 8.40 p.m. LONDON, Dec. 28. The Vienna correspondent of The Times says that the sculptor Mario Petrucci claims to have surmounted the technical difficulties in modelling a life-size statue in glass. His ambition is to carve a glass statue of Hamlet addressing a skull at his feet. Petrucci hopes to erect it in Hyde Park (London).
