POST OF MINISTER FOR AIR MR. CHURCHILL ASKED TO TAKE IT. SUCCESSOR TO LORD SWINTON. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) LONDON, Dec. 26. The Sunday Referee learns that the Prime Minister (Mr. Neville Chamberlain) has invited Mr. Winston Churchill to join the Cabinet. It adds that if he is agreeable he will succeed Viscount Swinton as Minister for Air early in the New Year. Viscount Swinton is in delicate health.
