Transport strikes are spreading and military lorries are still conveying foodstuffs, and deliveries of newspapers are haphazard. NO PEACE IN JERUSALEM BRITISH TROOPS ACTIVE « ROUNDING UP ARABS. Received Dec. 26, 8.40 p.m. HAIFA, Dec. 24. Peace during Christmas is unlikely in the land of Christ's Nativity. British troops resumed an action to round up Arabs in the Galilean Hills. It is hoped by encircling movement to trap those who are not already killed in yesterday’s severe lighting. > British troops continued to battle against the rebels on Christmas Day . in steady rain. Ten Arab bodies were - picked up in the afternoon, making thirty dead in the past three days.
