His Majesty also received feudal dues from those who occupy land or enjoy certain privileges. Among the dues received were 100 shillings in a silver one pound of pepper on a silver dish, a grey riding cloak, a brace of greyhounds, and a salmon spear and a “carriage” of wood, which Mr. Stanley Longford is seen presenting on December 1.
