OIL COMPANY HOLDINGS [ British Official Wireless. ] RUGBY, Dec. 7. The Chancellor of the Exchequer (Sir John Simon), in the House of Commons, stated that the total amount of interest and dividend received by the Government on its holdings of shares and debentures in the Anglo-Persian Oil Company since 1914 has been £15,989,354. No expenditure had been incurred in looking after this investment.
