AIRPORT SITE
PURCHASE NEAR LONDON [ British Official Wireless.] RUGBY, Dec. 17. The City of London Court of Cor»mon Council has agreed to purchase 1000 acres near Ilford for a new airport. The site was a wartime air station. The land will cost £289,700. The total cost of the airport will be £600,000.
